FyterTech Strengthens Leadership With New Chairman of The Board And CEO



Green Bay, WI, January 5, 2023 – FyterTech Nonwovens is kicking off 2023 by bolstering both its strategic and operational leadership. Effective immediately, Andy Hetzel Jr., long-time President and CEO of the business will assume the role of Chairman of the Board – focusing on the long-term strategy and growth of the business and semi-retirement.

 

Concurrently, Suneer V. Patel has been promoted to President and CEO of FyterTech. Suneer joined the company in January of 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, quickly learning the spill control business and making a positive impact on the company. Prior to joining FyterTech, Suneer worked for 25 years in medical plastics extrusion beginning in product development and culminating in the role of Vice President of Operations and Technology since 2016.

 

“It’s been a rewarding last 26 years as CEO. I’m so proud of our incredibly talented team of FyterTech’ers,” states Andy Hetzel Jr. “This is a big step for me personally and has been years in the making. I am confident Suneer and the leadership team we have in place will facilitate expansion of the business even more so, as I dial out of the day-to-day running of the business.”
